Berk Duyar was born in Istanbul in 1987, graduating from Anadolu University with a degree in Cinema and Television in 2010, before establishing a practice across photography, sculpture, and illustration. This instinct for crossing boundaries would prove central to the work itself. Limited-edition works have been presented and offered for sale through Artlimits, MixerArt, Büyükdere35, and ShopiGo Art. The practice is rooted in a deep fascination with Paganism and dark science fiction, given form through a modern, grotesque visual language that is wholly his own. Working primarily in sculpture, Berk Duyar inhabits a space between worlds — where the ritualistic, the organic, and the otherworldly converge and unsettle.
